OUR STORY

Reel Planning evolved from Craven Ovenden Town Planning and has been providing planning services throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland since 2005. Greg Ovenden became Director of the company in 2013 with Kieran Ryan becoming Director in 2022.

From a town planning perspective, our logo can be seen as nodes of development, big and small, urban and rural, which represents the diversity of planning matters that our team deal with on a daily basis.

November 2020 we opened our Cairns office. With our three town planners, our primary focus of our Cairns office is to assist both Local and State Government with their range of planning functions. Our Rockhampton office was established in 2015 and is one of a few firms specialising in town planning in the Central Queensland region. We recognised the region’s need for high-quality and affordable planning services and, through our local presence, we pride ourselves on delivering advice and assistance in a practical manner. Our growing client base in Central Queensland, and Western Queensland, is a testament to our commitment to being trusted advisors for our clients in the regions.
